Thanks Dada!

This is Henry's super cool new map. It's huge! Grammy came over last night and helped pin it up while Henry was sleeping. These pictures were taken when he woke up this morning.

The map is fabric and has all of these little velcro pieces to teach your child (or yourself) where things like the Alamo or Liberty Bell are. It's so cool!


Henry kept bringing me the pieces saying 'here go.' and then immediately taking it from me saying 'tank ew' and running back to stick it on the map!




Good choice Dada! He's having a blast and will be a super genius in no time! We love and miss you!!

A day in the bluebonnets

Scanning the sky for airplanes- his latest thing!

It was not so much a fun day like I had hoped. It was crazy windy, pretty noisey, and kind of sticky. Henry liked it ok, Lorelai tolerated it, and Maelie full on hated it. Over all sweet Gracie was my best baby model by far! I usually let the mom post pictures first, but this one is so cute, and hey I have the rights :)

Petting Zoo

Today at school Henry got to go to the petting zoo!

He really liked getting to see all of the animals walking around together.

In this little separate pen they had a mini horse, mini cow, and ducks. Henry LOVED the ducks!

He had a great time and I had a great time watching! I think the best part was watching him walk around with all of his friends. He's getting SO big!!

Today Dave invited us to the fire house to check out the big 'tucks'! Henry was a little skiddish at first, but he wouldn't be Henry if he wasn't!

Easter at Nita and Mikes!

Saturday night we celebrated Easter at Aunt Nita and Uncle Mike's house.
This was Henry's first ever egg hunt!

He was much more interested in just walking around in Uncle Mike's yard than picking up any eggs so Uncle Drew had to step in and help out.

Crazy, Wanda (Henry's new Nana), and Mr. James

These two are now best friends. Henry spent this entire trip, both at Wanda's and in the car yelling "DANE!" to get her attention. It's so funny! He just likes for her to talk to him and he smiles and smiles for her.

Roll Tide. Or just Roll. Henry prefers the latter.

And this is Mammy! We took a detour to Nachez, MS to eat at this restaurant I saw online. She's a giant black woman (she is definitely darker in person) and the diner is in her skirt! It was pretty funny, and the sandwiches and pie were good too!

Crazy fun in Alabama!

On Sunday Henry and I loaded Grandma in the car and headed east to Alabama!
We are currently staying with Wanda and James and having a great time. The past two days I've taken Henry on long drives so he can nap and Grandma and Wanda can catch up. Today we found a Panera Bread with wifi about half an hour out and decided to check in with civilization!

This is at a rest stop in Arkansas. Henry had the greatest time! He waved so hard at all the passing trucks he fell over!

I'm so excited to see him do big boy things, but it's a little sad to see what a big boy he's becoming!

This is what's keeping him quiet while I write this post. This cinnamon roll started off the size of his head! And yes, he almost ate every bite!

Zoo party!

Today was the amazing Maelie's 3rd birthday party!! It was such a fun time!

Em decided recently that she and Mae were either going to make a healthy snack or do a craft each day so Uncle Rob and I got her this apron and some new little kid cooking stuff. Here she is showing off what a good looking cook she's going to be!

Henry was THRILLED with the zoo party! He walked his tush off!! I went ahead and bought a zoo pass today while we were there and I've got a feeling it's going to be very well used.

So good in fact that Henry did NOT want to leave!!

Again with the elephant! I'm tellin' ya he loves it! He pushed it all around the living room tonight. He'd push it to the tv and then get on it, ride for a minute, and then push it over by his kitchen door, ride for a minute, push it somewhere else. Crazy! Have elephant, will travel!
